Please add as much as information as possible when requesting edits.
- Example: "Remove spacebar cutouts on both sides, keep more material as possible", "Remove screw holes", etc.
-
Please choose the stabilizer cutout accordingly.
-
Screw-in Stabilizers
- Its highly recommended to use the screw-in option cutout if you have the option. Screw-in stabilizers will accommodate older and newer generation of stabilizers and is much better in sound and feel.
-
Plate-mounted Stabilizers
- Please use stock plate mount stabilizers or aftermarket plate mount stabilizers.
- You can use plate mounted plates with screw-in compatible PCBs but you are limited to thinner housing stabs i.e. cherry stabs. (these are considered as older gen stabilizers).
-
Some considerations when using these materials..
-
Aluminum
-
Aluminum is limited to Black or Red Anodized sheets. Cutouts will be chamfered on the top side for smoother feel.
-
Plastic plates
-
Plastic plates like Polypropylene are much softer than metal and even polycarbonate. Switches varies in thickness which means inserting switches that are thicker than normal will sometimes cause the plates to bow which causes the switches to not clip properly. (This is normal and is an expected result).
- In this situation you will need to insert the switches by column
- When inserting switches, grab the empty cutouts on the sides to support the switch, allowing it to fully clip.
- Alternatively, you can use a plate fork to support the plate when inserting switches. - Plate Forks

ISO Users
- For ISO users, the standoff screw holes on the top right corner is different for 60/60HE users. Plates will include both screwholes to elimate guesswork. See photos of the differences.
The Wooting 60HE/+ is available in a variety of materials. If you prefer to use standoff screws, a standoff screw kit from KBDfans is required (+$5) or buy directly from here. Alternatively, the plate can be used without screws.
Since the wooting 60HE fits into a 60% keyboard case, we offer converted wooting-compatible plates for keyboards such as the Frog mini. If you need a conversion for your keyboard, we offer this service for a small fee. Please submit the stock plate file for the keyboard you want to be converted to.
